These terms are an agreement between you and Harris Apps Studio, the developer of Talk to Estimate. By using the app or the website you agree to them.
What Talk to Estimate does
Talk to Estimate helps contractors turn a spoken job description into an estimate, send it to a customer, collect the customer's approval and signature, make an invoice and record payments.
You are in charge of your estimates
The estimate builder suggests line items, quantities and wording, and may suggest prices for items that are not in your price book. Suggestions can be wrong. You review every estimate before you send it, and you are responsible for its prices, terms, taxes and the work you agree to do. Talk to Estimate is not a party to the agreement between you and your customer.
Signatures
A customer approves by typing their name and signing with a finger. We store that record with the time, the device, the IP address and a fingerprint of the exact estimate. Whether that record meets the rules for your trade and state is your responsibility; check with a local advisor if you are unsure.
Plans and billing
The free plan includes 3 estimates a calendar month. Pro costs $14.99 a month or $119.99 a year and is sold through Google Play. The yearly plan has a 7-day free trial; unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, it becomes a paid yearly plan. Subscriptions renew until you cancel in Google Play. Refunds follow Google Play's policies.
Fair use
Do not use Talk to Estimate to send messages people did not ask for, to break the law, or to send estimates for work you do not offer. To keep costs fair, the estimate builder has a daily limit per business.
No guarantee
We work to keep Talk to Estimate running and your data safe, but the service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Harris Apps Studio is not liable for lost jobs, lost profits or indirect damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. You can stop using Talk to Estimate and delete your account at any time. We may close accounts that break these terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
